Getting to know me
The work I find the most fulfilling, and I am most proud of, tends to also be work that feels more like a collaboration of a client and I, working to achieve their goals, instead of a simple transactional relationship.
For that reason, I am always happy to meet face to face (for free) before anything is on the books, to discuss what you are looking for, more context or narrative about the event and to get to know each other better.
More about Photography
I am an Edinburgh based photographer, although I travel through Glasgow, and across Scotland and England frequently, who has been working in the industry for over 8 years.
My style leans towards a cinematic approach, using a variety of lenses with low depth of field to capture the feeling and details of an event, as well as allowing me to improvise quickly for any surprises.
What do I do outside of work?
One of the things I love about my work, is it affords me the opportunity to be creative, to travel, and to explore other passions on my own schedule.

For me, being involved with the Beltane Fire Society has been a huge part of my life for the past 5 years, joining as a photographer, only to end up spinning fire, doing acrobatics, exploring dance and movement, music and percussion, and having an amazing time doing it.

Policies and FAQs
As a member of the LGBT+ community, it goes without saying that I am always delighted to attend and support queer events and weddings, and have a zero tolerance policy for homophobia and transphobia written into any contract.
I have liability and indemnity insurance, as well as equipment insurance, and can provide a certificate, and write up a risk assessment if requested.
I ask for a 50% deposit to book the event, which is non-refundable, with the other 50% paid after successful reciept of the images.
